    would you be able to automate them between each gear change?

    i thought OP was talking about antilag, not launch control?

    Mate left his half on after launch, seemed to work ok but I'm not an expert.

    you have two option on the throttle opening side of things

    1 use an xf idle control valve, these flow a fair whack of air and can be controlled by the ecu for antilag aswell as decent idle control

    2 use a commodore boot release solenoid on a second throttle wheel to actually hold the throttle open by the amount you require, easily adjusted to suit the length required but are only on/off and you can't hold the soleniod open for too long or it may get hot
    (10secs max)
