1uz-fe + 3uz info needed +man gbox

hey guys i just need a little info on the 1uz-fe 97+model and the 3uzfe.

ive done a search found out the basics(power etc..) but does any1 have the weight, litreage, and dimensions. i couldnt find this info anywhere.

also do they make aftermarket parts for them eg pistons, cams etc...

last thing are ther manual gearboxes available?

any info or help is appricated. thanks

i'll start you off, but google is a better friend for this info.
1uz is 4 litres 3uz is 4.3 (i think)
there are a few companies that make pistons, cams, rods etc. (some place in queensland by memory)
and there is no factory manual option but again a few places offer bellhousing conversions to match them to w58's and R154's
i could find out the specifics but i am going to eat morning tea now and that is more important to me.
i have struggled to find a relaible weght measurement and to find out what it includes/excludes for any of the uz series popular theory is it is between 180 and 220 kg's but as for what it is relating to is anyone's guess.

there is info ALL over this site, search term 1uzfe vvti

lextreme will give you very basic info on the non vvti models
vvti (1uz and 3uz etc) are a bit more thin on the ground. my site has a fair bit of info, but perhaps a bit too technical for the basic information you want

in general though, bellhousings are available for the w58 and r154
an adapter is availabale for the v160
similarly tremec and renault boxes can be fit up with enough $

pistons are easy - see ross and acl
cams, not so easy - depends what you want

the main thing i really needed are the dimensions. width, height and length. its for a project

none of the theards have this info. some good thread in the search tho ill have2 look throught tonight.

700x700x700 is a very rough estimate.

nah actually havnt thought bout a 2jz. i heard that the 2jz is bigger than the 1uz. its goin in east west so (maybe if it will fit) so i dont have 2 get a custom tailshaft made. custom is a word i will hav to get used to =(

im still in the planning process. im hoping to tackle the job with little help (but will most definately need big help) as the only conversion i have done is a 4age20v in2 a ae92 csi model which come with a 4afe. that was easy starting point but big plans ahead

East/West mounted 1UZ's......getrag 6 speeds......a custom tailshaft is a stumbling block........I'm intrigued just like my handsome West coast friend above.

Your previous task of a 20V into an AE92 is more of what you'd call an engine swap rather than a conversion 4A ------->4A.
