On a related note: what oil do people recommend for a Truetrac centre (F series diff).

I just chucked the standard Penrite Limslip stuff in it. It doesn't require LSD oil technically, but most decent diff oil has the LSD additive anyway.

I think I used redline shockproof... motul, royal purple.. penrite - these are all good brands

I use normal gear oil (Castrol I think), no point going fancy because it all gets spat out the breather anyway.
