I'm looking forward to seeing what mine can do, but hold some grave concerns for the W58. The clutch pretty much makes it impossible to do a 'soft' launch.

Should we bring a dustpan and brush to sweep up the bits?

Do all you fast guys "slip the clutch" on the launch? That is, purposely release it slower so that it isn't fully engaged straight away, so the clutch slips a bit and presumably you have a better launch?

yeah thats the idea, but its a matter of slipping it without it getting too hot that it then doesnt grip. Its a fine line.

Ross.. we'll have to find you some more N/A power to race against. Sounds a lot like a 1J / 2J battle at the moment

1 problem solved for me... Eldar did some carpark re-wiring for me last night and got rid of knock sensor error code! w00t!...
Now I just need a boost controller so I can blow a head gasket again like my last trip to the drags!

    i assume your joking.

as the only way your gonna launch sideways is if both wheels slip and send you sideways, which is exactly what will happen if your rev happy and dump the clutch, morseso with an LSD

i wanna see some more power, then it might live up to its nick name!

figured out while its being homozexual yet?!?!?

According to Wayne Stephensons web page, a RA35 is the late model Japanese spec of the RA28, and presumably a GT version:

Japan struggled with emmission control laws, so in 1976 the 23 and 28 were replaced by the 35 for both coupe and liftback models

So, a RA35GT would need to have been imported from Japan. I don't think they have the 5-lens RA25 tail lights, but the same 3-lens ones as on an RA28.
