Cool, I just picked up a cometic HG for cheap so hopefully it will mate up ok with the TRD forgies in the engine, otherwise where can I get a custom HG from?

GT-T i got my forged pistons and eagle conrods from BRD racing in USA. He's a bit unreliable now and got my second cometic 2TG head gasket from paradise (Paradise Racing - Home), dude is very helpful. I got the rest of the bits from Stewart Wilkins motorsport - like chains, bearings, etc.

I also got some hard to get stuff from Kameari in USA- like timing chain tensioner, sprockets and upper guide/sprocket.

From memory the stock piston is 85mm, i couldnt' source 86mm, so i got 87mm. Here's a set of Arias turbo ones for the 3TC at 8.5 compression ratio, this is what i'm using (albeit on 8psi and smokey turbo)

Hi guys, could anyone tell me off the top of my head what the dimensions of the lower 3TGTE alternator bolt is? Saves me having to drive to the bolt shop, pull my car apart on the side of the road, put the new bolt back in and drive home

Good to hear - the CT26 is a lovely turbo on the 3T GTE.
    YelloRolla's KE20 1/4mi = 11.32 @ 119mph @ 22psi on slicks
    12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.

i just put a kill kenny casting W033 18r theremostat housing on my 3tgte and its much better facing forward instead of being off to the side of engine. im glad toyota makes things interchange with other toyota stuff and it makes life easyer.

Certainly makes plumbing the radiator hoses much neater hey. Just beware that it doesn't end up being the highest point in your cooling system, in my car it ended up slightly higher than the radiator top tank, so I had to tap it and fit a bleed point to remove any trapped air.
