    hmmm dont no if i should say. . . . . i got blown up last time i put the idea out ther but have done my research and it has been done but not in aus . . . .

    sw20 mr2 . . . .

    biggest mod in the boot removal to allow the engine room as the 3s in in is cramped now.

    ive been chating to a american guy who has done a AW11 1uz also ther is a guy in aus who has done a 1uz twin turbo gt4 . . . they said research is the key and get alot of it!!!!

    the only example i know in the world is the mc8r.. i want to be the first in oz

    now you guys can unleash lol

    1UZ+Getrag+custom tailshaft+MR2=something very speshel.

    I think you need to look at gearboxes. If you're planning to mid-mount it ala stock, a Getrag is a whole lotta wrong.

    Got a link to any info on 1UZ AW11?

    Pfft Nathan, you are forgetting the custom tailshaft on the getrag

    Seriously though Nathan is correct and I have a feeling that taking on such a large project yet being scared of custom tailshafts (which I'm going to assume you are meaning drive shafts in the MR2) and the word 'custom' you're going to be on one hell of a steep learning curve.

    Umm, Camry V6 box from memory?

    Or perhaps it was the SW20 turbo box?

    Something like that. What ever the strongest FWD box he could find was.

    Been a good 2 years since I've read anything, he may have aborted.

    I saw videos a while back of an MR2 (AW11 I think?) with a Northstar V8 in it. Didn't look like it was an easy thing to do though.

    does any1 know how to get in contact with that guy?????

    well im still doin alot of research on it...... i heard a guy that has done a gt4 1uz-tt so it would be a similar setup....

    first big plan is get it running with as little dramas as possible hopefully the motec compwill be easy to tune then later on:

    pair of quad throttles
    then billet super charger or tubro
    the list could go on for ever

    then of course bigger brakes, body streghten etc.....

    i heard the SC on the 1uz work better than the TURBO? TRUE OR FALSE???

    ther is still alot up in the air but hope to finish the project early 2009 jan-feb and then other mods will eventualy find ther way in ther

    they both had a 3sgte lol.... he should have kept the car in mint group A form and it would pull up huge money still..

    i would have done something like that to the (camry 5s) celica sx... beautifull car tho respect goes to him
