Tailshaft fits no probs . you just have to work out if the JZZ box has 3 or 4 solonoids . I think JZA,s only have 3 .

1992 - JZA70 STOCK - SOLD
Yes you can.
If you select 1st gear and your will have first,
Select 2nd gear and you will have 3rd
Select 3rd gear and you will have overdrive,
You won't have second gear at all
I sell Manualise shift boxes for these trannys which are easy to wire up and will give you all gear, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
If you want more info Just Ask.
Refering to Jzz30 we are talking about soarer powered by 1jzgte. The Auto's in these only have 3 solenoids and have a slip yoke on the rear, as mentioned the jza70 and jzx81 also have 3 solenoids but have a different extension housing which you will be required to swap aswell as a few bits on the rear shaft, when you remove both housings you will see the differences, easy to do. As already said the rear spline on both boxes are the same, The selector switch swaps straight over along with the solenoid plug, it all fits, I've been down this track before, the valve bodies are the same, With one of my shift kits and a tranny cooler I pulled 341rwkw out of a standard jzx81 box before killing it. Any questions just ask

Awesome thanks very much for your detailed response! +rep
... Also with the shift kit do you need to adjust shifting line pressure at all?
