Help 1JZ JZZ30 Manual into a GZ20 1G Manual

Hi guys after lots of rummaging the forum, I am stuck on a few bits that I'm aware but unsure about. I am about to embark on a transplant here in the UK on my GZ20 Gen3 Manual. Yes I have managed to source a complete but rolled JZZ30 Soarer to canibalise.

The car is being built by me to compete in the D1 series here in the UK

The issues I'm aware of but would like clarifying

1) Sump, have I got the right one if its from a JZZ30 Manual
2) Power steering pipes, I believe these need modifying??
3) Propshaft driveline, will this line up?
3) Are the soarer electronic dash binnacles interchangeable?


Any other wiring issues I need to know about?? Help is mucho appreciated, Im about to crack on with it in the next week or so any issues that will stump me I need to know about asap.

From memory a JZA70 cut is the way to go for a xMZ20 conversion...

The crossmember bolts in is my recollection.

Howver the JZZ30 engine will have the right sump (engine mounts etc will be more work however unless you sort a JZA70 crossmember etc).

Driveshaft will depend on what box you decide to use...

On another thread the JZA-70 crossmember is the same as an MA-70 >90 so that should be easy to source.

Who else has done this conversion I need some help here guys

I currently have the W58 gearbox so whats the difference with the propshafts?

I don't mind writing a techy article on this for all of us for the future

the w58 can be mated to the 1jz engine using a 2jzge (jza80 non turbo)supra bellhousing
