2jz gte oil pump mod

hi
i have bought a brand new oil pump for my 2jz and was wondering if anyone had any links for the oil pump modification instructions.
Should i do the mod so the front seal doesnt blow out or just risk it ?

If your motor has no blowby then the front seal will be fine , also dont restrict the pcv system . You bore out the little dain hole at the bottem to about 5 or 6 mm i think
The actual reason for the oil pump mod is to drain off excess oil that the original drain hole cant cope with that the oil pump leaks thru its gears.

Thanks dave thats the answer i was looking for
The motor i would hope would not have much blowby as it is getting a rebore and new pistons and rings so hopefully it wont be an issue
I may just bore the drain hole out just to be safe though
Hopefully with the new pump the oil will also not leak as much pressure through the gears
