Race brakes in Melbourne can make a custom setup to your specifications, but its a minimum of 17 inch wheels, so it may be over kill for a little AE82.
Why do you want to go bigger than the superstrut option you currently run?
Hi peoples I am looking at upgrading the brakes from superstrut 2 piston to 4 piston brakes of some sort.
Has anyone had any experience with RX7 4 pots on a AE82 and if so what rotors did you use. any other suggestions or pics of setups would be appreciated

becuase they just dont pull up quick enough and the car will have 400hp soon
What pads are you using? and how much does the car weigh?
I had EBC greens and the car weighs 1090kg with me in it
Do you race the car?
I don't see what you have as being insificiant, but 400hp is a lot.
yeah just like to have overkill

They cant be too custom if he has to run 17"s . The whole idea of custom stuff is making shit fit no matter what.![]()
KOV51: Im sure they will beable to make something fit under you std wheels if needed..... I know i could --- and im just your average joe.

u got msn if so my addy is [email protected]
you may find that the piston area of the RX7 calipers is actually smaller than the twin pots you have now...
which will mean (without disc change), you willl get more rear bias.
can you lock wheels now? is the problem fade?
larger diameter discs will reduce pedal effort and increase fade resistance from larger diameter and mass respectively....
the caliper itself just changes feel (and to a fair extent, the consistency etc).
you could mount the current twin pot on a larger disc??
or do you specifically want the caliper hard mounted?

found that I got alot of brake shudder when hot with fade just didnt like the inconsitency
need larger weight discs.... so you may as well get larger diameter while you are there too
the 280x30 nissan dioscs can fit under 15" rims, but the calipers are wide, and stick out a fair way if they are bolted over the hub.
the RX7 calipers suit a thinner disc = less heat capacity...maybe...
how big are your rims and how large a discs are you willing to try
(sorry i can't help with specifics yet)
oh, aren't EBC greens well known for causing shudder when hot?
can you try some ferodo DS2500 or DS3000's ? they should work better with the same size discs...
