Oh ok, I guess I should buy a gravity feed then to get acceptable results, what are the prices for a good one?

I have a couple of those as general purpose guns, and have even used them for top coats when i broke my STAR gun. Really quite good, i actually just ordered another one.

I would rate about 9/10ths as good as my STAR.

    Z2TT, you need a 1.2mm or 1.4mm nozzle for 2pak, and a 2.0mm for your primer and hi-fill.

    cheers Chuck.

Oh ok, where can replacement tips be bought? Or do you have to get them from the exact same manufacturer of the gun?

I'll have to measure the nozzle somehow when the gun arrives to see what I got, how do you measure them?

Sounds like you need to clean the air holes in the pot cap of your gravity gun. I use a 2.5HP compressor without any dramas.

Z2TT, get your nozzles from the same manufacturer, as some threads can be different from maker to maker.

    cheers Chuck.

Mate that is purely an air pressure problem, the reg at the compressor must be dialled down when using the gravity feed gun. Too much air equals dry and dull paint, with lotsa orange peel.

    cheers Chuck.

When im painting i tend to run two regs, one at the compressor and one right before the gun.
