All the Altezza's run a 4.1:1 diff, except for the 4-speed automatic gearbox one which runs a 4.3:1.
HI all
Im going to get my next diff from NZ can some one help me with diff ratios,Also the best ratio to suit my car 1g with a W58 in a ta23. I think the lower the better as its only used for blasting the crap out of it![]()
Most common modles seem to be AS200,AS200z,RS200 and the Altrezza Gita wagon
I have done a bit of looking but can't find comprensive (spelling) list.

Here's a TRD item on trademe NZ $750 buy now
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-121224203.htm
they have an a-series diff afaik.... could always swap in a JZA80 a-seriescrown wheel to get a nice, low, 3.2 ratio.
Altezza diffs are same as F code![]()
there are some cheap "IS200" ratios on yahoo atm.. 4.3 and 4.5?
check these part numbers
4.3

They're an a-series. As is the late model JZA80.Originally Posted by thegreatestben

Sure, but they are the same as F code.
Says so right there. Also a mate is using an altezza cusco lsd in a F live axle.
right, sorry misunderstood you(or, more accurately, my alcohol-addled brain couldn't quite pick up on it)
incidentally, that site lists every diff as f-code... including the b-series and g-series from the mk3 and mkiv supras
ah well then they are wrong except for the altezza diff,
But yeah I want that trd unit for my gx81.
Can't afford though :'(
part numbers are the same though. IS200 and RS200 = MA61=MZ12=41301-RA010
hello
yup yup yup, I was just saying that the the listings being all F is wrong, i'm sure that lots of them are the same.
I would've thought heaps of guys on here would know about altezza diffs being F compatible?
yeh already knew.
i see they are 10 digit part numbers. toyota probably has them on their system? ill test it out next time im in there![]()
hello
Nah you want a nice tall ratio for that combo, otherwise 1st gear will be nearly pointless. Turbo engines love tall gearing, you want to load up the engine so the turbos can build boost. I'd be aiming for a ~3.5:1 ratio.Originally Posted by case
