Whoops, suppose I better say, it's a quick daily driver that I want to get out on the track from time to time, as well as spirited drives. It's a JZA80.
Hey all,
Looking to get some Tein suspension with the EDFC setup. I'm toying with whether I get the Super Street at around $1100 or the Mono Flex at $1699. Does anyone have experience to justify the extra $?
Cheers,
Nathan

I had a mate buy a set of superstreets for his wrx and basically it was explained to us that the superstreets where designed for Australian roads ie they had softer sprints then the flex series one. Not sure on the exact kg of the springs as I would it would change from model to model
These are 10kg front and 6kg rear. Even if I find them a little soft, it's a darn sight easier to change, my current springs won't be captive or won't maintain the same height if I go stiffer.

why need the edfc? bit of bling really...
once you find your suspension settings, youll hardly ever change them.
also, speak to the guys at penrith wholesale suspension. they know their teins inside out, and can steer you towards a proper setp. the superstreets really are a bit a a girly option, run single springs (vs the 2 stage retainer setup on the older ha's etc) and have their own pros and cons...
ring and talk to them... best advice evah!!

Haha, I want the EDFC because my car is going to be forced by its daily driver duties to have a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde nature. As such, I will change my suspension settings, the settings I have for a hills run aren't the same I'll use for driving along the road to work every day.

with my teins set to hard its a very uncomfortable drive, but set to soft is very nice
that edfc thing would be cool, but it literally takes 20 seconds to change the dampener settings manually, the money would be better spent else where
But that literally means I have to get off my ass and tweak stuff. I seriously doubt you'd do it in 20 seconds without running around like a madman.

i did it this arvo for a few wet laps
literally 20 secs
no tools needed
It's only a few hunjiI'm more concerned at this point whether or not the Mono Flex are worth it over the Super Street
