as long as the belt has good tension and you can see it when you pull the pin out and it all bolts up with the covers its doen its job.
The black one is my old tensioner and the silver is the new. See how the circular part at the front sticks out further than that of the black one, is this something I should be concerned about? First time i've change a tensioner so not sure if this is correct.

As long as it's not interfering with the belt in any way it should be all good

Haha first time they had been clean in the last 2 months I tell ya.
When my engine is finished I think Ill have to sit down for a day and rep the hundreds of ppl that have helped via the forums.![]()
