    don't do this.

pete05: yes it does. Start at higher speed and less TPS early on.

narrow band o2 sensors are over rated
Basically answer to your problem is it's not tuned correctly. Get your hands on a stock 1jz-gte map from apexi, you can find them if you have fc-datalogit and use there map area for idle and below idle, fixes all problems related to poor idle or decel cut outs. Only copy the fuel correction map, not the base map.

As for narrow band o2 sensors they're meant to move back and forward, that's how they work.

This is a log of narrow band o2 sensor voltage between 0-1volt using fc-datalogit. This is what it does when you're driving normally from a set of lights. The average of that is around 0.48volt, which is approximately 14.6-14.7 afr.

Using open loop just takes the injector times from the base map which could be fucked to all hell for all you know on ratios. You can't tell until you stick a wideband o2 sensor up the tailpipe. However saying this when they are tuned, the tuner is suppose to tune the base map to 14.7 at all potential closed loop points or at least as close as possible, and the closed loop mode with narrow band is suppose to clean it up and make it just like factory.

I actually hooked up a wide band now that has a narrow band emulator for the power fc, but logs the wideband thru the fc-datalogit. Get to see the exact afr now. I usually see between 14-15 when cruising around with o2 feedback on. When off however, it doesn't go up and down, instead it can sit on one ratio, and changing rpm or pressure changes the ratio. I found my tune is between 13.3-15.3 on this, and my one was a 6 hour tuning session.

The problem was when i was running the base map. The tuner turned off o2 feedback because he either thought the o2 sensor was stuffed, or couldnt be assed trying to rectify the fluctuations.

Tuner is suppose to turn it off, it's the only way to tune it correctly.

With the Power button OFF... Dont use WOT until after 110km/h as this is the HIGHEST kickdown point from 3rd to 2nd.. After 110km/h it wont kick down!

We use this method for Dynoing my car, and also used it on all the TT's and V8's on our Dyno day without a drama
