Toyota *normally* changes mounts, not crossmembers.

ie, GZ10 and MZ10 are the same, GA61 and MA61 are the same, MA70 and JZA70 are the same, MX83 and JZX81 are the same (of course given the same year)
ta23 and ra23 are different, ke30 and te30 are different, ke70 and te72 are different (engine mounts as well as steering rack mounts), etc... hard to generalise what they *normally* do

I was comparing things of *roughly* the same era as the car in question though.

    Doesn't the 6MGE say 3000 on the covers? I thought that was a 5MGE.

1JZGE plus hairdryer = easy power, unless you want to prove your gheyness by persisting with that M series.

1jzge alone ! and leave it non turbo.

bollocks! im living proof you can blow the head gasket on a 5MGE... very easily!

ALL M Series motors have a fucked head gasket design flaw, its just more evident in the 7MGTE because you add the surprise element of boost, and suddenly the pressure just makes the thing pop faster. A N/A M series just delays the inevitable.

john, the old BHG 5M block and everything is coming out of my old MA61 at chris's place. Hes ripping it out to put something funky in there (Im not allowed to say what, but all i can say is big block american). It will more than likely be for sale.. AND its closer to you than blimmin Mandurah

Make an offer on it if you insist on being a cheap ****!

(Personally i'd be making an offer on Matty's 1UZ Soarer Halfcut, but thats just me)
