    Default ta22 feed and return fuel line sizes

    quick q boys and girls,

    dont have acces to my car at the moment but i'm getting the bits required to install the efi fuel system. could anyone tell me the correct feed and return fuel line size(or the fitting required) as i need to buy fittings to suit the surge tank. cheers.

    i always thought they were 1/4 inch
    and i heard that you'd have to upgrade them to something bigger like 5/16 if you wanted efi....

    that's interesting. you sure? i would have thought for starters that one line was bigger than the other, and furthermore that a hardline upgrade would be dependant on the fuel demand(engine and injectors in question).

    Typically TA22 supply and return lines are both 1/4. Some TA22's have a 5/16 supply and a 1/4 return. Thats heaps for any N/A engine.
    It all depends on how much fuel you need, even with EFI going 5/16 lines will be plenty for any engine in a TA22.
    If your going EFI you need to worry more about the pump supply flow and pressure than the line size.
