Hey guys does anyone know what HP the stock injectors will max out at on a 1JZ? Also stock fuel pressure too.
Ive made 297hp and it was getting lean but it may have been dodgy fuel pump......just wondering how much further i can go before im outta fuel....
Surely plenty of peeps have maxed em out with aftermarket comps and know where they ran out.

I've got an 040 making about 322rwhp and on my safc2 there is like 13% fuel taken out up top, tuner was actually asking me whether they were stock injectors or not!

why not just grab 440's from a 2jz? straight drop in, requiem made 344rwhp with a shitty boost actuator on his BC.

Yeah, but the 440's will run rich at idle and low rpm and part throttle drivability... The factory ecu will TRY to compensate but wont lean it right out. 2 Guys in Vic, Both with Widebands + Sensors ( same brand ), 1 with stock injectors the other with 440's. Stock injectors idle around 14.7 which is stoich, the 440's idel around 13.5 which is rich.
1 guy with a Soarer + t3G's maxxed the stock fuel system out @ 292rwkw with 100% duty cycle on stock injectors and pump.
Not safe to do so, but he wanted to see what they could make.
Im currently making around the 320-330rwhp mark @ 18psi and with the Blitz Ecu and its still ok fuel wise. Running into the low 12's Afr wise though.
I have been told with a Greddy Emanage Blue, you can actually get about 12-14% more fuel from the factory setup. So 350rwhp would be doable with one of these setups.

Well i just sold my emanage and bought the mines ecu, so not goin down that road again.
Also bought twin tdo5 16g's so thats got turbos sorted.292kw would be fine with me on stock injectors, thats close enough to 400hp.
i got no probs with low 12 afr's, thats still plenty safe for my liking
At 16psi now on stock twins i can smell and see the fuel being dumped out the back, so the mines ecu must have that still sorted up at 16psi. Need to dyno it again with the mines and see where im at i spose.
Gunna be a suck it and see scenario i think.
what you really should be asking is, what is in reality a sensible amount of rwhp you can make on factory injectors with out risking my engine. i would think around 320 rwhp with sensible rail pressure.
i have heard stories of some people making 433 rwkw with factory injectors yet they could never back up the power on another dyno and they could never run a trap speed within light years of what 422rwkw would give and the same car dropped 133 rwkw all of a sudden with a fully tuned autronic and bigger injectors.
if somethings to good to be true it probably is, and if you cant back it up, then it definately is bullshit,

Yeah i agree there, im not after bullshit figures, and strongly believe if ya cant back it up with proof then it doesnt mean a thing.
The reason im asking though is i have the new set of twin td05's and im trying to plan ahead, when i put em on how far am i gunna be able to go (as in how much higher than im running now) before i needa put my hand in my pocket again and spend a fair bit more upgrding fuel system.
I hate SAFC's so that is NOT an option.

You should have kept the Emanage AND run it with the Mines Ecu!!!
Best of both worlds... No speed cut, No boost cut, and programmable....
My Blitz Ecu is doing a Great job by itself so far, but both myself and my tuner know, if we backed an Emanage onto it, we could extract some better mid range and safe and better higher rpm figures on the dyno, and would gain some more on the strip too.

Oh and the 292rwkw on stock fuel system, was done with the Emanage, so they were cranked 100%.
Also, this car has yet to back them up on another dyno in that state of tune. And a similar car with 258rwkw on same dyno same day, sat even with him on the freeway....
They are having a Dyno Day this saturday down in Vic, so will know some more results, this sunday night hopefully![]()
