Chris i agree with wot you say, to get the max out of my turbos im going to need a proper upgrade not a temporary one. Basically im not ready to make that decision to do a big upgrade just yet, so really i guess the only way is going to be put it on the dyno and kep upping the boost until it gets too lean for my liking.
16psi SHOULD be enough for my liking, which should also get me over the 300hp quite easily as ive already made 297hp on 13.5psi
320 rwhp which is backed up with 110 mph on the strip. Power FC reports 100% injector duty cycle. However atm im convinced the power fc cannot drive the standard injectors as hard as the standard ecu. or in otherwords 100% on the pfc isnt 100% at all.Originally Posted by Wildsupra

leaning out on dyno may be due to the 1986.5 7MGE fuel pump running a 297rwhp 1J...
i know Adam/Pimpin_1JZ got alot less than other people from stock injectors before he had to upgrade, so i think it depends on how you measure it etc.
id expect 320rwhp on the mines without issues, any more and you'll have to add a safc/e-manage, if you dont like them, microleb etc.

Hey, I'm going to get a set of 2JZ-GTE injectors from the wreckers (will get cleaned and flow tested). What colour are the injectors and what's the part number for them so I don't get ripped off?

Grey topped. Not sure on the part number. They look nearly identical, just grey, and I think the nozells are different but I can't remember the differnces and don't have them in front of me sorry.

328hp @ 18psi on stock injectors with Walbro fuel pump for me. Backed up with a 12.3@111mph at the strip.
Not sure if the walbro raises the fuel pressure, I'm still running the factory fuel reg.
Dyno'd on the weekend at 20psi and still had AFR's in the high 11s in the top end of the rev range. So there is fuel there for probably 360rwhp safely (on my setup at least).

I have an unknown lift pump, custom surge tank, Bosch 044 pump (200L/Hr at 5Bar) and default PowerFC tune and the other day I got the injectors to 82% at 0.6Bar.
I'll be installing 2JZ-GTE injectors and a Turbosmart 800Hp regulator ($260 + fittings & pressure gauge) then getting the PFC retuned (by Matt Spry at Nerang GC).

Correct me if im wrong, but doesnt having an aftermarket computer such as my wolf, double the injector duty cycle because its setup to squirt on two settings instead of one. I know nothing about ECU's, this is just very breifly what my mate has told me. All i know is that they were running close to the limit on 365hp atw, probally might just see the 400hp mark, but i doubt any further then that.
