Karl is jaycar's warehouse in a portable, toymods friendly form. PM him an order and it will appear for beer (plus costs incurred)

the proskit crimper is awesome... thats what i use.
You gotta get the "non-insulated terminals" die to suit though.

i might have to look at those in-line crimp thingies soon too.... maybe i can add those to the Jaycar range as well

I think that the Jaycar one is a different brand so they wont go for it. I have a toledo one from Bunnings and its worked well for me.

It uses the die to roll it... all rolling crimpers compress.

Witzl, what can you get me one of those crimpers for, and how much are the die sets??

My new wire stripper: Ideal industries wire stripper

Has blades to cut the insulation, a spring loaded clamp to hold down the wire and it does the splits to pull the insulation off 10-22 awg with replaceable/upgradable blades

some teeth marks on the insulation from the clamp...need to find if i can adjust this.

I wouldnt worry too much about those teeth marks, they arent slicing the insulation, just indenting it, so shouldnt be a worry at all.
