Seeing as the number of JZX81's that came as manual was close to zero I'm guessing that it was converted (using 2jzge stuff) in japan!

The number of actual manual JZX81's was zero wasn't it? I didn't think the R154 fitted without some...massaging?

Yes all manual JZX81's were conversion jobs so I wouldn't be surprised if it came with a W58.

Hey come on, last time I checked zero was pretty close to zero?

Haha yeah I thought they all came as autos, but I thought I'd take the safe route... lol

This becomes more interesting, because i thought there were at least some manual JZX81s out there, from factory. But simiilar to the number of manual GZ20s its buckleys and none.

    Either way im happy.

Ahh, well there we go, explains everything. Seems that i have a GE fly (1JZ or 2JZ) from a converted JZX81.

Can someone post a picture of the JZ R154 flywheel just to dispel the myth for certain.

PP locating pins are different to your flywheel.

Ah i see, distinctly different. Well that certainly blows it out of the water.

Looks like it could be redrilled if someone got bloody desperate though. Especially as both run 240mm clutches.
