    thatwill help many modders..
    But you do Not need to grind it that much..
    you only need to grind enough to fit under the "E" clip

    Yeah I got a bit carried away... My bad!

    I actually fit the clip on there without filing it but it was a bit tight.

    Also just another question, with the noise suppressor, where does the white wire connect too?
    Does it just ground to the chassis??

    Hi,
    just done this conversion.
    What will happen if I dont run the noise suppressor ?
    I have one but the plug is different.
    i had to join the tacho to the neg. side of the coil to get it to work.
    Other than that it went well.

    I've been running mine without a noise suppressor for years. Could this be a Problem?
    Looking for a new toy. If you have something 18r powered let me know.
