use one of these.
hi all,
I've been trying to remove the front cam pulley bolt on my camry but without access to a (good) rattle gun its staying put
tried using a spanner (15/16" attached to a pipe) on the cam and a breaker bar (attached to a pipe) on the bolt but the spanner always "climbs up" the cam and now the thing on the cam is slightly burred.
i've heard that using the SST / spanner wrench can damage the pulley..
are there any other tools to lock the cams, or should i just give up and take it to someone to loosen the bolt?
cheers

It grips on the inside of the pulley so it wont damage it, have used them on 1mz's heaps of times (like 100+) but it will be real tight, dont be scared to break the pulley ..it wont.
