No idea of the situation in NY but if you find an Aristo halfcut for alot cheaper than a JZA80 (which is definately the case over here), you can use the auto ECU and loom with a manual box by bridging the neutral start switch like Norbie did.
If youre in a position to do chuck an R154 in at the same time youll have saved yourself quite a few headaches. The only bit of the wiring that still makes no sense to me is wiring up the damn auto. Going with a R154 also means you can find a premade tailshaft easily enough too. Using the Aristo tranny like I did means custom tailshaft time.
I think everythings already been covered but if your bored check out a few of projects onwww.supraforums.com.au/forum
Theres quite a few of us with 2JZ powered A70 Supras now and info shouldnt be hard to find.
Make sure you take some nice pics and If you feel like doing a bit of a blog with some decent pics or something Im gonna be updating my website and adding a few pages for the various 2JZA70s getting round. Will chuck one up for ya if you like.![]()
I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.
