paradiseracing.com in the states sell alot of goodies for the 3rz also afterall they own the 1300hp 3rz ... adj cam gear, cams , forged internals etc etc all pretty cheap also...

im not sure if they still do but a.r.e at brendale in brisbane had 3rz forged internals for sale leftover from there build when they chose to import a built block. might be worth a call.

    pauter rods are 735us...

Never bought anything from Paradise Racing, but based on their past performance I would look elsewhere for expertise. When they were using the 3TC they were well off the pace of what others were doing. Maybe good for a bit of research or even price checks but base any setup on advise from someone with better results from their own car.

indeed richard,gt42 rings a bell from when i was last in there and asking 3 million questions haha, last time i went in to buy some speedflow fittings i asked him about the plenum he makes for the 3rz, and said 850, which i thought was fair considering the design and flow testing that has gone into it, its not just a bit of pipe with some runners...

Got any more pictures of this.

Should start this in the Members rides section, or get this one moved.... Either way, good work, and interested to see the outcome.

the sump i have is FKEN deep. it goes down to the depth of a normal front sump, then there is another drop which is about 4 inches.

because of the diff being directly below it in the prado, the sump isnt very flat in the middle section. ill get pics of this soon

here is one pic so far though. i think it would nearly drag on the ground if i left it as is hahahah

Looks like the same sump as on the 1995 Tacoma 4WD I'm parting out. Most guys in the US use a 2WD T100 sump for a 3RZ to Hilux conversion. The T100 sump has a larger fluid capacity as well.

2.7lte 3rz didnt come out here till 9/1997 in aus, 22r was the engine b4 hand,

that sump came out in 2.7 prado, hilux with IFS (not solid front diff) and even a light truck i cant remember the name of, 2rz hiace sump is the same as the front sump without the extra drop down,

The Tacoma sump won't work in live front axle, or right hand drop IFS trucks. People in the US converting live axle trucks to a 3RZ use the 2WD T100 sump. It still interferes with right hand drop IRS diffs tho. I looked at a 2WD Tacoma with a 2RZ last weekend. It has a sump similar to the 1UZ-FE in the LS400 Lexus. Would probably work in US 86-95 IRS trucks with a body lift. Not much joy for those who don't want to lift the body...
