    Two things...

1 - Search is your friend. You will find electronic dizzy info you seek in these forums.
2 - You have a full size keyboard and therefore it is quite easy to use "to" instead of "2". Save the SMS for the phone.

Actually 18rgeu injectors aren 210cc std (blue). The 320cc 1g's are multi spray, which would not suit the 18rg chambers. They are also round plug rather than EV1, not a big deal that one. i have 240cc which run fine and 460cc rx7 which are to big for std ecu.

just for quick info on what suits 18rgeu's
    - 18rg std blue top210cc-195500-0282
    - black top 324cc 19550-1650
    - blk top TNP-053/B240H 240cc
    - RX7 red/brown top 460cc 195500-1350

plugs and ecu are no issue at all.

What sort of impact would you see from using multispray injectors in an RG?

The Talon injectors I am using are physically identical to the stock injectors (with possible exception to the plug). The pintle cap, filter, o-rings etc are all identical to the stock injectors, and they are a single spray. I wouldn't call them overkill (heck, if you can get a smooth idle out of 700cc SARD injectors, then 450cc are fine), plus they can be had relatively cheaply from the states fully reconditioned.

Multispray may cause a slightly rough idle, or idle hunting if you have an idle control valve. Single spray injectors squirt onto the valve, helping to cool the valve, and giving only a short distance for it to drizzle into the combustion chamber, whereas a multispray will line the intake walls.

That's why I use the Autronics SM4... arguably the best after market ECU out there. Plus, 700cc gives me plenty of room for more power should I decide to upgrade the turbo at a later stage. And she idles as smooth as silk.

Just back on injectors for a GEU. Will the length of the nozzle make a difference on performance. 2608207265874040_1.jpgAttachment 13261 As per pics, the difference is noticable.

the round blue plug from the coil/ignitor:
    - one will be connected to the positive of the coil. Connect this to IGNITION 12V+
    - one will be the tacho output

The noise suppressor - white/black wire is earth. Other wire IGN 12V+ (connect to coil +)

The long sheilded cable goes to the dissy VR pickup.

    it's pretty basic really.

Hi All, I need some starter advise. I have a 10.5:1 compression 18RG that I'm having trouble turning over. Engine has been off the road for few cold damp months and will only crank slowly. I'm about to go over all the earth connections and positive on the starter to ensure all connections are clean but is there anything else I can check while I'm poking around? Couold there be an issue with the starter motor itself? Seems to be pulling a lot of current while cranking and the battery worked alright on my 3TGTEU although this has pretty low compression.

Can finally start putting the 18RG back together. Got my rear main seal case gasket and manifold gasket from toyota yesterday after a 6 week wait while they got them out of japan! ARP flywheel bolts arrived too.
