dave ( screamin rolla) is making 245kw with a GT 30 i belive

yeah dude, but thats running the stockers at 18psi.....they arent going to be reliable for long with that pressure and they are pretty much MAXED out....

Josh had one engine that got to 280 odd rwkw but the others that have given their life for the cause weren't making those kind of numbers as far as I know.

There is no doubt that as a short term thing if tuned with zero detonation it would be possible to turn 300rwkw out of a stock long block, especially if decent fuel was being used. That's not a setup I would recommend to anyone for their streeter though.

Look at 6boost's and 160TU Setup! Their 400+hp motors didnt come easy! 6boost made 430rwhp with alot of internal work big farken turbo 24psi and race fuel, that's not cheap to setup! on the other hand you can make 350rwkw from a internally stock 1jz on 20psi, 350rwkw in a tiny little celica would be a bit of a hand full

was thinking over a smoke and a piston car is nothing like a rotary so ive got my mind all puzzled up,

as jordan said 300kw in a celica is going to be like a hot potato in the palm of your hands, so a new power figure is set in mind of 250rwkw, ( 335hp)

i think that would be plenty in a small car and should get me a low 12 high 11 depending on traction ( i am considering mini tubbing it and removing the rear seats and getting it all engineered as a 2 seater)

i am considering my options on turbos so any suggestion dont be shy, will be looking into aftermarket accessories asap, ( cam gears etc,,)

You can get 12's out of a stock 1g with a cpu upgrade
And your bosses vl ma make 400hp but it will weigh about 500kg more so you should only need to make about 300hp to flog it

will be looking into GT3076, that one has caught my eye, but im going to look into building the motor 1st so i dont have it on the hoist every weekend

theres no "off" the shelf items for them...everything is custom on these now, you do come across the odd old off the shelf items, but rare and overly priced

theres a hks twin turbo kit on ebay atm, no good for massive powah tho,
