consider residence time.. too long and the water heats up too much in the IC... to short and it won't cool down so much in the exchanger....

Have a look at the CAPA website, for different variants of centrifugal superchargers. There is even one there that runs an internal belt drive, rather than a gear drive, eliminates the need for pressure oil feed, and return oil lines.

Not a fan of centrifugal, and all the twin-screws I've been looking at have fully contained oil supply.
