I wish I hadn't looked in this thread, as it keeps on making me want a 1uz in my car. It just seems to right!

Supercharged 1uz is even better What about using a supercharger like the one on this page: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/supercharger1.htm

The ProCharger D1SC centrifugal supercharger (apparently). My mates uncle has something similar on his holden ute, and that thing is mad... chews up tyres so easily

But why would you bother with parallel twin superchargers when you could just use a larger single?

I saw a kickass setup on an Elfin over the weekend at the Motor Show. I got a bunch of pics of it but I need to get them off a mates camera. They mounted the S/C backwards so the inlet is at the front. They made a pulley up on the front of the engine and then ran a rod to the back of the engine where they span the supercharger via another pulley.

Left room up front for a TB and a big intake.

I think that's the Harrop blower kit for the Gen3 by the sounds of it.

Hmm, I've had a look through the site, the Harrop one isn't as obvious, I can't see the shaft that drives the S/C like I could in the Elfin.

Found it out, the Elfin uses a Walkinshaw setup. Till I get the other pics, here is an example of what I mean. Stupid companies using Flash websites!
