well not a Toyota oddity... BUT it is an interchange... it appears that AE82, AW11, ST165 all can use the same rear fixed pillowball mounts from Cusco. There are a few other interchanges that most folks don't know... I found this link yesterday... Cusco part # short description... and pricing. For the ENTIRE Cusco line(not just toyota.....)

    Just a note on the Altezza 1gfe exhaust manifold ... won't fit a 1ggte.

    It's like 3+3 instead of 1ggte's 2+2+2

This is the 1gfe water pump, if all 1g series block are the same then it will fit 1ggte. Metal gasket.

The 1gfe cylinder head gasket, same as 1ggte, metal and thinner. will increase compression.

The piston and conrods are light, with a lightened crank, these stuff will be good for a high revving 1gge. But I didn't take any photo or weight them.

Can you measure the thickness of the head gasket?

I tried a similar thing with a 5E-FE, i used a late model thin metal headgasket to replace a conventional composition headgasket (IIRC, 0.25 mm copper, single layer).

Under some circumstances (drop throttle decel) there was extremely slight contact (piston to head) at the squish areas.

    Measurements would be nice.

I don't have a caliper, so this is what I have done for you ... maybe about .5mm?
I don't know whether it helps, as for 1ggte, the valves and pistons won't knock.
Then I assume you must be very careful if using adjustable cam gears

    Thanks!
That's nice, it shows that it is a multi-layer type metal gasket.

KE30/35/55 leaf shackles are a direct swap for KE20/25 etc. You will need the KE30/35/55 bushings for it to work (the pins are thicker but the shackle hanger and leaf spring eye are the same size as ke2x). Useful when the pins are rusted out and a nice little upgrade.

    FYI:

    * Aftermarket AE86 control rods fit xA6x Celica with NO modifications
    * Whiteline MA61 front adjustable swaybar fits xA6x Celica with NO modifications

See xA6x Celica: AE86 castor rods and Whiteline MA61 adjustable swaybars fit perfectly!

Not sure if this old news.

ST141 front crossmember is a very close fit into a KP60 (file out the holes about 5mm each) . The front supports (anti-roll bar) will bolt up to the chassis rails. This also gives about 20mm wider track each side.

ke3# crossmember same width as ke2#, two bolts need slotting 5mm, the lower arm pivots are wider than ke25 so will give bit more camber, even with the shorter ke30 lower arms. suitable when doing alot of customising of engine mounts etc and gives better option of rack conversion in ke2 rollas due to wider lower arm pivots, (ke3 not as wide ke7 pivots tho)

Side repeater indicators from '83-'97 hiluxes fit onto MX73 Cressidas (and probably lots of other cars)...means clear indicators from ebay like these also fit onto the Cressida. (Direct bolt in and plug in no mods necassary).

bit ricey, but they are cheap !

No - The 1G GTE is a 6 bolt pattern and the 1UZ is an 8 bolt.

How close is the ST141 to an RA2# with that sub assembly?

this is a good cheap brake upgrade for ke70 owners:
    stock ke70
    mz10/mx73 struts with king springs
    sigma lower arm
    ra40 tie rods
    ra60 P/S arms

flip the spring upside down on the strut, use the stock ke70 spring perch and top hat, bolt it all in!

P.S you have to wind the castor out as far as you can (forward) to clear the spring inside the tower!!
