Giot a pic of the other side of the plug? Looks very much similar to a plug on the 5S-FE loom I have from a Corona.

I know this is an old thread, but can anyone tell me which 4A takai refer to, is it 4A 8valve or 4A-fe/4A-GE

    Thanks

The piston and conrods are light, with a lightened crank, these stuff will be good for a high revving 1gge. But I didn't take any photo or weight them.
Justmy 2 pence worth on the 1ggte, 1gfe stuff.

The 1gfe headgasket will work, using it myself.

I good upgrad for using standalone ecus is use the front engine plate from the 1gfe, allows you to fit the Lexus water and oil pumps (easier to get over here as a newer engine), but also now gives you a crank position sensor so you can use 1gfe coil packs for direct coil on plug ignition instead of dizzy.
Hence why the water gte water pump wont fit the fe.

The blocks not a lot different but the gte has the oil return, the fe doesn't.

    Lexus alternator will also fit.

Not 1005 sure, but the MA70 Supra has the old fashioned powered regulator arrangement as opposed to the later cable drive arrangements, worth a look.

For anyone playing around with a60 Celicas and JZs...

Crossmember from ST141, RT142 Corona fits SA63 and RA60/65 Celica respectively.

this R engine-d crossmember can be used with these mounts: http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com...step=4&pid=284 to fit a JZ into a 60 series Celica.

As far as I'm aware MA61 Crossmember does not fit xA6x Celicas suitable for JZ-ing. Celica Supra engine bays are a good few inches longer than 4cyl Celicas.

SA63 auto tailshaft fits rear of a W55, so I assume all alloy W series.

JZX90 radiator can be mounted into SA63 with custom mounts, the cores are the same size. Mounts are different, but rad mounts aren't hard to make/mod. Nolathane sway bar link bushes are your friend.

MX73 aftermarket coilovers fit A60 Celicas.

more to come as I play around

Does this mean they will fit RA40 aswell? RA60 struts fit RA40 with no issues that I'm aware of.

The aftermarket ones are weld on, gotta use original hub. So its sorta already a custom job, top mountings shouldn't be a problem.

    http://www.celicasupra.com/forums/sh...MX73-Coilovers

As far as I'm aware, the supra top strut mount is the same fitment to a60 Celicas, not 100% though.

[EDIT] just confirmed the only difference between MA61 and RA60 struts is the kingpin angle, irrelevant for fitting A/M units.

SO! if MX73 coilovers fit MA61 (100%), no reason why they shouldn't fit A60 celica, and according to you, A40 too!
