Thats actually good for the auto...that way you don't jerk the box around as you match the revs to the down shift and not make the box take on too much load...that's the way I use it around corners...brake, blip and down shift......As long as I know its strong enough to take some mild abuse I’ll use the box as its manual...

Hey Chris apart from the full manual shift kit did you do any other internal mods to the box?????

Oh by the way I have an oil cooler and a big ass PC fan thats connected to thermo switch that is in welded in the trannie sump and activates the fan on when the oil temp goes over 85 degrees. So far its never turned on. (Noisy little fan so I would hear it) This will I think keep it from cooking which should keep it safe. Its a good cheap mod to keep the trannie safe.
