We have a liquid metal like susbstance and relaease agent here commonly used for this problem. The last "temperary fix" we did was for a courier van over 100'000ks ago. That being said its luck of the draw and may last a week or a month or a year. Its bloody good stuff tho and I actually haven't had a failure/return for any of the ones done so far. Its not your best option but its a viable solution till you rebuild the old engine.
hey mate, motors still on the stand atm, wont be in the car for a while,
    cheers for the offer tho,

    Blake,

If its not in the car yet it would be even easier to repair as it makes getting to the Harmo allot less hassle

i would just get some of that liquid steel and bog it all up with a new moon key

and doo it up FARGON tight!

they only come loose when the front pullly is not done up tight enough, if you look it up its something stupid like 300ft/lbs!!!!!!
(thats like 4 times tighter than an average head stud!)

on my 1j i ose a 5ft long piece of tube and stick it over my 3/4 drive socket, have someone in the car in 5th gear with their foot hard on the break and give it heaps

anything less and it'l come loose for sure
