legend! Anyone know the part numbers on na cams?

this order is critical
take off front cover
crack loose the cam pully bolts, take 10mm socket and extension poke it through the cam pully onto one if the bolts that holds the backing plate for the front cover and hold it square to stop them turning
now set the crank to TDC, mark where the dizzy rotor is pointing
little plastic cover down by the front pully, under it is the tensioner pully, its spring loaded so loosen the bolt and slide the pully over with a screwdriver and nip up the bolt again to loosen the cam belt
slide the cam belt off the pullies and remove the pullies, front cover backing plate and cam covers
undo cam bearing caps evenly to allow cam to slowly rise up on the valve springs
done!
reverse the process to install, use a good assembly lube, somewhere here is the torque settings for the pullies and bearing caps
make sure the seals are right in and remember to set the little notch in the pullies at the top b4 installing the belt
i usually put a little dab of sealer on the front cap either side of the seal
make sure the belt is tight by turning the exhaust cam in a backwards direction with a spanner hold tension on it while you let the tensioner release on its spring and tighten the tensioner bolt, (I usually crank the engine a few times and redo this step to make sure the belt is settled)
dont attempt it if you have no mechanical experience
a fool remains undescovered untill he speaks!

Dont you get overlap problems with the boost pushing the intake charge out the still open exhaust valves?? Or is that fixed with the adjustable gears/not enough boost&overlap to cause a problem?? Could be interesting to see what 3SGTE+3SGE cams+Garret BBearing turbo+Adaptronic would =

so has any one had good results with this as my head is got a rattle noise(sumthing to do with cams or valves just wondering if it would be worth puting some in.
slipway, check your valve springs for fatigue. That would be my first thought.

cheers dude how would i do that just take the cam cover off and look for?
Pull the springs out, and check the unsprung height of them, as well as the angle they sit on. If they are lopsided, or have shortened over time, they are fatigued, and should be replaced with new items.

Of course if you've gone to the trouble of pulling them out to check that, you might as well replace them too :-)
