RA60 dash prob with 1ggte

Hi there, put 1ggte into ra60, goes like a b***h but would like to keep tcho standard..in dash does the 1g generate a different pu;lse profile and if so wich...while while we r at it is there a cure for the w58 to standard speedo fix? any help would be appreciated

gearbox drive gear ratios can be changed to make speedo read correct search on here.

and there are tacho adjusters you can buy and or make to fix the pulses. some tachos have an adjuster inside the casing on the circuit .. again search tech for more details.

prob is it was an auto g/box now a 58... so what do I search for? I think I need pulse type?

if you have cable type you need to change the gears that the cable screws into in your w58 to the closest ratio to suit wheels etc as explained in the 1st thread.

for the tacho open yours up .. if there is a little trim pot (dial thingy) you maybe able to adjust it to read right ... use a monster tacho etc to match your standard one to read right then remove the monster.
