provided that the projector is strong enough to beam on the wall.

im putting together a VTEC just kicked in yo 'slag against the honda boys' flash presentation now... hehe. we'll run it for a couple of hours and see whether we can get under their skin or not..

now i have gaffer tape for the cabling.. but i require two power points (one for laptop, one for projector) if thats the case...

Chris.. did you say you had the projector - or you are wanting me to get the one from my work?
Like I said - an alternative to the projector idea is to mount Wayno's plasma TV somewhere and play it through there like a giant monitor

i dont no, so i need you to get one.

though wayno's telly would be a much better option as we could have a brighter image then.

then again a projector beams a bigger picture, and thus a bigger message on a wall.. ('vtec just kicked in yo!)

yeah.. projector does a bigger image - but also area needs to be pretty dark to be able to see it. A few car clubs had this problem last year - most people didn't even notice the projection onto the walls cos the convention centre lights are too bright.

Wayno - whats chances of using your plasma??
and will it be compatible with Chris's laptop?

as long as it has a DB15 (15 pin RGB monitor output) it will work fine..

    ok..
had a call from Matthew (manager at ExtremeAV) - he is keen to help us out.
he is willing to stick with the quote of $650 and do the best they can with the equipment they got.
any extra costs, they will foot the bill as a sponsored/advertising type event.

So we will be looking at about $75 dollars each cos I will have to get another power point, thus 3 power points all together.

Matthew assures me that a single 15amp power point with DJ gear, laptop, projector all running off it will be plenty of power for us. they need 2 power points just for the lighting tho.

I need to know everyone is going to commit to costs cos I don't want to be out of pocket.

    comments???

Chris.. any more word on what you can wangle in regards to free passes?
I dunno if I have to pay for these lighting guys to come in over the weekend now too!..

good thing I get paid on Thursday cos it sounds like I'm gonna have a lot of expenses this weekend!

Also - in regards to the OST pics. I'm gonna put a whole bunch of pics on CD from OST events, and then we just use the standard Windows Picture Viewer to scroll through the images.. easy done.
