I think they'll need it a minimum 3 weeks to repair the car. (baring in mind they'll have others in front of you).
Like I said we can cover up that rear end with the OST banner, and no-one will be none the wiser. I remember a few years back the YUME 300zx show car was damaged in transit, and thats all they did..
Just get that front panel replaced and we'll roll with that.
Must have the spearmint car at the show!!

ps.. Lighting is looking good at the moment. I have contacted Ryan @ eXtreme AV and he is happy to help us. Might be a small cost involved tho, so might have to split the costs amongst entrants.

Coff we can put your car with the damaged side up aganist the wall (so longs we get a wall side) and hide it accordingly... OR take those panels off just for the show... it is a workshop after all gotta look the real deal!

Yeah Damo see if you can find out how much and we will also need to make sure if they have a truck or something that we can get them into the convention centre under one of our entrant forms otherwise they wont be allowed through the boom gate! Might be another call to Alisa!

Those who need more pics of cars.. DO IT.. DO IT NOW!!..
sun is out today... but then raining tomorrow

and then get them to Wayno ASAP.. we only have a couple of weeks left till show time.

Ryan from eXtreme AV is on board for some trussing and lighting.. w00t!
still trying to work out a price, but hopefully everyone is willing to chip in some money to make our display stand out!

sweet we r gonna b soooo.... cool haha yeh took a couple of pics and sent them to wayno this arvo so yeh im set.

so ryan will be setting up lighting for cars and everything too yeh? i think we're gonna need a lil more power tho cos at motorvation he used every power point we had n even then we had sum lights left over cos we didnt have enough power to power them all.

are we allowed to bring our own things for our own cars presentation 2? like if i wanted to bring like other lights (i doubt ill need them if ryan is bringing lighting) and anything else i want to put around the car?

I don't think we'll be going quite as big or fancy as the Supra WA display at motorvation.
I was just thinking more of a 8m x 5m display for the "showroom" cars, which we decided would be Wayno, Tristan, Neil & Lauren... The workshop, we'll just create our own lighting or go with the convention centre lighting.. (my car looks better in the dark anyway! haha)
Just got a few spotlights for the showroom area to create some attention.
Just trying to keep the budget down - but yeah, I'd say we'll have to organise more power once Ryan lets me know what he needs.

I'll answer the above posts tonight but for now

    Late Breaking News

TUNED Car Club are holding a car wash this Saturday in Wangara to raise money for Autosalon!!!

HAHA Should we have car wash and charge $3 rather then $5 and $10 which is what theyre charging hehe that would be too cruel!

NO WAIT anyone know where I can get my bunky covered in mud?? Excellent!

Damo are we having another final meeting before CABIN? I'll be free Wednesday night if ya want to make it during the week otherwise for me Friday or Saturday!

LoL - car wash in winter!.. whats the point?! its probably gonna be pissin down with rain anyway..

yeah.. I suppose now that it is getting to the pointy end of proceedings.. we really should get all the final bits and peices organised.
Plus we are gonna need people to chip in for things like floor covering, fancy lighting and just general help setting up and stuff.. so hope everyone is in a helpful mood

only problem is that everyone is probably pressed for time as they get their cars ready.
We should just be encouraging everyone to hop on this discussion thread so they know whats going on and get some active discussion going from everyone involved!
