Ah thanks, but same Internal Diameter?
Remember that the pipes have 2 different ID's, The pipe begins round and then flattens like a rectangular shape. are both internal area's the same on Gen 2 and Gen 3?
Thanks.

Hey peoples
Well i thought you be interested in this so i thought i post. After much discussion i have decided to keep my stock twin set up but add a twist. I currently Have Blitz BAG Turbos and was after an upgrade so decided to High Flo the already high flowed blitz. Due to the Bigger compressor housing after splitting them me and the guy who is doing the job decided to machine them and fit 1JZ Compressor and Exhaust Wheel. Well i put some pictures up and keep you updated on the progress and results.. We not sure not sure how it will turn out as nobody has done this yet....yes i am the guinea pig...
The compressor Housing
The Exaust housing. Here you can see the machining that has been performed to make the fit.
Turbo dummy installed...just to see how it fits
And most important
The diffrence in compressor housing., Here you can see the smaller Stock CT12 vs The 1JZ Hi flowed Blitz
Awesome.
Looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Hey Rod
Yeah i am really looking forward to the result but have no idea what to expect. This was only possible due to the Blitz Bag Housing being bigger so there was enough material to machine. You could not fit the 1jz internals in a standard CT12. We estimate at least a 20% increase and boost efficiency to a bit over 20psi but hopefully due to the bigger Compressor wheel and exhaust we will reach the target without the need to go over 20psi. Hoping with the cams and all the other mods including the Microtech to reach power levels between 240rwkw to 260rwkw but its anyone’s guess now. I just like the fact that it’s something that has not been attempted so i will keep u guys posted....
Now I just need to put the car on the diet which I am looking into…need it down to 1350kg…fun times ahead for the lil 1G
I had a look, but those are the comparisons of the Feed pipes, not the outlet pipes.Originally Posted by TheToyman75

Ahh your talking about the bananas. I think they are the same but I honestly never checked....
Maybe you missed this bit of post #2 ??Originally Posted by Z2TT

The only "outlet" pipes the turbo's have is the dump pipe which is identical on all the stock Turbo's. Do you mean the Turbo Manifolds themselves ?

Hi Rod,
Ah I should have been more descriptive, by outlet I mean the compressor outlet, the ones that say "Toyota" and "Intercooler", they are above the rocker covers.
Thanks.
All the same mate. Just the Turbo Compressor pipes difffer...
