Hi all im wondering if anyone can help with getting the mv automatics shift box to work on my GA70. I bought the box second hand and followed these instructions

however where that car/box has a plug in or near the centre console that is 6 pin and has 1 pin for each gear position (L,2,D,N,R,P) mine dosent also in that first picture it shows that the gearbox has 3 inputs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd whereas when I look at the pinouts for the separate ect ecu that the Mk3 supra has it only has 1,2 and N. So I hooked up the shift box minus the 3rd gear input by splicing into the ect computer wiring harness located in the passengers side kick panel but its not working correctly.

I have:

Low=1st
2=2nd
D=4th/OD

But when i cut power to the shift box (which is supposed to cut power to both solenoids and give me 4th) i am able to get 3rd. To get third from second I have to go like this: 1-flip OD switch then shift from 2 to D and then Back down to 2. Ive checked my wiring but I have a feeling im going to need to find a 3rd gear wire. Can someone help me locate this wire? or give me any other advice?
