    Default 2TG Piston Info

    hey all

I have been trying to chase down some reasonably priced forged pistons for my 2tg and i was talking to a guy named mick at a shop called performance whole sale http://www.performancewholesale.com.au/ and through this company and probly others aswell he gave me some good pricing for some je and ross pistons the wernt quoted prices but they were accurate approximations of around the 800 dollar mark for a full set with rings and pins. now the pistons have to be custom made which take 4-5 weeks but 800 dollars(give or take a bit) for forged pistons with rings and pins is good pricing in my books the last set i priced were wiseco from the states and that was 750 dollars U.S. so with freight and converted to aus dollars it worked out about 1400 dollars. so for all u 2tg fans chasing stuff try this guy in queensland he was really helpful and the pricing was what it should be

here is some links and info

    http://www.jepistons.com/
    http://www.rosspistons.com/
    http://www.performancewholesale.com.au/
the top two sites have the custom order form you will need to get ur pistons made up and also has stock listings and a full price list on current available items
this site will have or the details on what to do and you can send the info off to performance whole sales and 4-5 weeks later you shall have ur pistons

thought this mite help some of 2tg owners

    cheers,

    rob
