im sorry to say dana but your zorst needs to be made properly, and your car can do the speed limit if u try, heheh (im only playing about the speed limit thing so dont get cranky)

byrnzie - sounds like u have my problems

just so ppl know my car only gets 150km per tank so we cant go too far from servos.
Looking for a new toy. If you have something 18r powered let me know.

RIP, where ever you are :- 1974 celica, 3tgte and 186.5hp at 6500rpm

I get about 400 ish from the hybrid...

I cant believe that diff has gone already...lilcrash! I have been easier on her since the last one and even still it was a pretty good diff when it went in.

It didnt blow up like the last one though...it has a shuddering...like driving down a bumpy road. its very bad at 60km...

Someone has smashed the front end, the diff just went, the brakes are playing up, an exhaust mount has vanished..not broken. just vanished. Fell out maybe? geezzuz.... And I've found new rust that wasn't there and is suddenly pretty extreme on the left hand side...back of the sill under the door... We have bogged it and touched it up for now but it needs to be cut out and a plate welded in.

I really want to go on this cruise. but we'll see how things play out..

What is with you people complaining about your cars? especially you byrnzie, rust??? HAVE YOU SEEN 51LII LATELY?? geez get over it! lol

And whats this talk of broken diffs? 51LII cops a thrashing, i thought hers woulda gone by now?

byrnzie.... fingers crossed, yeah.... or i'll break them if you dont come!!

lilcrash.... take some jerry cans in the boot then if youre gonna go through that much fuel... and i know my zorst is dodgy but i dont see the point getting a new one when the 3TGTE is going in relatively soon, just a waste really... does the job for now

yeah im with dana on this one, stop bitching, but to be fair i have no rust

on the route suggestions i recon the lion road could be cool but id much rather the tamborine mtn rd-lamington national park rd to o'rieleys, cos the goat track (from mt tambo down to canungra) is single lane (lights at the top and bottom so no worries about on comming traffic) windy like a mofo and there is some great scenery down there as well as along the top of mt tambo

all of the above plus i used to live out there and havent been back in a long time

Yeah but skiddz tamborine isnt all that far away, and its been done many times before. If were going to get a whole heap of celicas together (a rare occasion) we may as well make a decent day of it and go for a decent long cruise.... and I wanna go somewhere new!

Tell ya what, next time were heading out for a tambo-thrash in 51LII, we'll invite you along That way you can do both! Geez im smart....

    hey there.

Well you can count me in at the moment. Be in the yellow RA23 with the noisy as 18RGU
(Needs new timing guides...hopefully coming from terry at road and track.)

I'll have to pass it by my wife to see if it clashes with anything else, ie parents in law coming round etc.

I've just recently done the mt. glorious, mt mee...montville stretch in the yellow beast and had a blast although i was the slowest car there against my bosses M5 and a horde of euro and late model jap beasts.
