Speaking to him I'm pretty sure his first version of the engine was built out of a GZE.
He was definatly using a GZE bottom end and GZE head.

I'm pretty sure from this thread it was the GTE manifold, but yes, I'm also pretty sure you're right it was a GZE engine.

The first incarnation was a modified GZE intake, the second a TT power ported..

We are both right. I think he was going full custom last I knew.

Ok im sure he uses or used a TT manifold after using a modified gze item as i happen to know the guy that did 6BOOST's intake power porting, considering that you can get flow rates of somewhat 290cfm @25 inch of water thats fairly decent and would not warrent trying to change to another style manifold as this one works so well. Cost to do a TT manifold is $660 and let me say the results speak for themselves.

Lambolica im sorry but i cant find the print out of the flow rates i had when i got the manifold power ported but as i mentioned in previous post of what the flow rates are from what i remember, 1, 3, 4, and six all flowed in between 238-245 and 2 and 5 were least at somewhat 230cfm, after power porting they flow somewhere between 287-292 for all six runners which worked out to an average 45cfm gain per runner. Im sorry but thats all the info i can give you, which is pretty much as close to the test results. And not only do the flow rates get fixed aswell as the wall smoothing of the runners due to teh extrude honing process the plenum also has a really bad problem with creating turbulance, this is sorted out again and the plenum is given a really smooth ass flow. If any of you want to get some sort of job done like this to your plenum u can contact me via pm or add me to msn [email protected] and i can give you the relevant info and contact details.

I think i deserve rep points for this HEHE

So Tony, based on your personal results, would you say that adding a dummy shaft to mimic the TVIS shaft in runners 1 & 6 will even out the flow enough to continue working both the head and manifold?

And the other 10CFM difference that is supposed to exist cannot be fully substanciated on the bench?

In regards to the 1 & 6 out flowing the rest (-TVIS) this could possibly be on a Manifold to manifold basis and it is very interesting that Fattony chimed in with his results. I personally have 3 GenIII 1G's at home and the plenum is is slightly different in 2 cases. So it is possbile that the one Fattony has is from a different car.

    Possible?
