Who makes or has available the Y-pipe conversion for the 1JZ??
This is a pic of one I spotted a while back but can't find the thread about it
I'm intersted to know what dyno results have with this set up, I'm tempted with the china made manifolds but I'm not convinced they are ideal for a responsive drift spec set up where as the Y-pipe looks like it might be.
So if you have a Y-Pipe or china curly set up can you post some info up please?
Cheers![]()

Rex Kelway is the man you want to speak to (in the 3rd person).
I would be opting for a Chinaman ebay manifold personally and getting it braced. They are so cheap.
These y-pipes were a good idea when exhaust manifolds were all $1000+ but that is not the case anymore.
Neo Nasty: They are twin pipes to replace the y-dump pipe. He is referring to a y-pipe to connect the 2 exhaust manifold to a single turbo.
I made one for my sons 1JZ/ Skyline and it put out 190kw at the wheels with an old 7M CT26 at 12 pounds boost and standard computer.
chinese tube never had a problem
runs over 200rwkw @ 4500 and 354rwkw @7500
TONS of mid range torque
a fool remains undescovered untill he speaks!
did you have to add bracing to yours 1jzracing?
Ahhh. I though it looked kinda odd.
Didnt realise they sell those on Ebay too.
