    Default Wiring an 18RG/EU Alternator

I am almost done wiring my 18RGEU in my RA23, and the last thing left is to wire the 3 wires from the original loom, to the 18RGEU alternator.

I have to match the 3 pins on the Alternator, to the 3 wires on the old loom.
However, the pins on the alternator are labled differently, and I was wondering if anyone knew how they corresponded.

    18RC Alternator:
    E: - earth
    N: - neutral
    F: - Field

    18RGEU Alternator:
    L: - Light?
    IG: Ignition?
    S: ???

So if the 3 pin plug on the back of the alternator is different, how do I go about wiring it to my RA23 loom?

    Cheers,

    Bryce

Please read my FAQ on wiring internally regulated Toyota alternators. All the questions are answered there.
