i dont think his fuel guage works properly yet? so numbers would only be a guesstimate.
cheers

Sorry to be boring, but there was a lot of preamble (Mos and Dimitri, in another thread) about the fuel economy of this engine in this chassis. Have you driven it enough on the street to be able to give some numbers with confidence?

What has running it dry have to do with it? Fill tank, reset trip meter. Drive Xkm's. Fill up, divide fuel used / km / 100. Bam, l/100km.

I keep an eye on fuel economy in exactly this way with every car I drive.Originally Posted by JustCallMeOrlando

Once you have an estimate for the fuel usage (by filling up earlier than at empty tank) you can estimate range so you can still cut it pretty fine without running out of fuel while not being able to rely on the fuel gauge that jumps in quarters.

If you ever sort out a fix for the fuel gauge that jumps in quarters I'll be first in line to pay for it
Ive run out of fuel twice now![]()

I'm assuming that just an unsubtle hint to pick up Ed's box from Linden's workshop...

210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.
I went for a couple of rides with mos and would like to state for the record that there was more than one occasion of wheelspin and/or oversteer, and a few other, well, lets call them 'unsoft' driving moments...Originally Posted by The Real Roadrunner

seconded... I'll also point out that even 'cruising' around the track in 4th the car was still quicker than I could go in the AW11.
