OK, so i just really need to get a 100kw dizzy, chuck it in, take cap and rotor off. Make a new cap for it so it doesn't poke out, then i can wire in a computer.
I am going to run a microtech

That sounds just about right. If you're looking for Hyundai coils, i have a spare set lying around if you're interested. PM me an offer if you like dude.

Yep, you can modify the bluetop dizzy, since you already have it, i'd recommend you just go ahead & take the extra three reference points off the shaft with a die grinder. It will save you sourcing a 100kw one, and works exactly the same.

The 4 reference points can be seen in this pic, on top of the 24 tooth wheel:

As others have mentioned also, there's nothing wrong with the Hyundai coils. If you buy a waste spark 4 cylinder coilpack brand new from haltech, this is exactly what you will get

So you only need one of those points? Does it matter which one you keep?

i wasnt set on the Disco Potato, it was just one of the turbo's i was looking at.

i think ill end up going with the GT25. it has the same compressor hp flow rating (320hp) but a smaller exhaust housing with a turbine thats less restrictive.

but ill call garret to get their opinion on anything first. it seems they are willing to help.

Well my t25g arrived today. I am guessing i'll have to turn the housing and i will have to move the waste-gate actuator. Any advice on doing this or know where to get it done? I have heard of a place at wetherille park?? but not sure,

you can do it yourself but if you have to fabricate a custom bracket like they had to on mine (possibly because i didnt have one in the first place) then its best to get some1 else to do it.

GCG did mine but charged an arm and a leg but it certainly looks like a quality job

Do you remember how much it cost? My brother asked them to do it for his old 20v turbo, and they said around $500. SO my brother went to this other place near wetherille park and they did it for 180 i think
    Anyone know this place?

While we are on the topic. What would be a recommended cooler sixe for my application. I was thinking around the size of a stock rb20 cooler or similiar? Also should i upgrade injectors to gze's? Anthing else i should look at putting in or i need?

Not sure what the GE injectors are rated at, but i'd say they don't have a great deal of headroom if you wanna push some power. GZE ones are 365cc or thereabouts, and will do the job nicely for you. If you want to go further, source a set of 7MGTE injectors (~440cc) or if you have to, mazda RX7 (550cc), but then you're getting past the comfortable limit for light load tuning, unless you have an ECU with sequential injection.

Stock RB20 coolers are fairly restrictive, even at 150rwkw. Several tests have been published in the past showing up to 4psi drop across the cooler to make 12psi in the manifold on a stock RB20 (from memory, pls dont quote me )

Why not go for a cooler like the one fitted recently to NickZ's KE30? or is there not quite enough room in the smaller KE? They're only $175 from JustJap.

There isn't really that much room for a cool, thats why i thought something small like a rb20 cooler would suit, but i guess i'll just have to get the hack saw out and start cutting! Yeah just jap ones are good, there are a few intercoolers where im working so ill have to chekc them out,

SHit, my brother paid 180 for a new bracket to be put on i think. I guess i'll just have to keep looking around.
Also for the tvis plate, will i have to make a plate to immitate it to bolt on the inlet manifold?

Hey Megz, talk to James (AE35GT). He is running the rwd big port manifold without the tvis plate.
