ST141 (i think) have knuckles with minimal offset, but are longer
so is the plan a 323 slightly (like 5mm) shortened with low offset knuckles
or shortened more and with higher offset knuckles

I've heard rumors of mazda racks being used.. Looks like you put an end to that rumor and proved it's a go-er.

With toyota inner rack ends, they are different thicknesses.. Maybe mazda the same? If you change a KE70 inner rack end to RA60 its hmm 5 - 10mm shorter.

So that might be another area to get it a bit shorter.

Don't want longer knuckles they will just give you less steering angle.

so im better off getting the rack shortened more and keeping the shorter/larger offset racks,
I will get my mazda rack and see how much can be take out of it,

This conversion is somthing i dreamed of never thought i would get nearly this far along

Yeah stick with shorter knuckles.. As for the offset on them though, that changes Ackerman and i'm not qualified to suggest if more or less Ackerman is good. In the celica with my version 1 rack n pinion I had close to no Ackerman, car felt fine to drive, had the turning circle of a truck though. That was the only real difference I noticed.

So if you can find a short knuckle with less offset you might be on a winner.

Just did a remesure and i was measuring the wrong nuckles the STs are near 0 offset and same lenght, i was measuring RA40s and RT corona not RT and ST corona
I have about 10 pairs of steering knukles now lol'

STs look like they will be the win,
What affect does longer LCAs have cause im running corona LCAs , just mean i need longer rod ends?

Ha gets confusing hey having 101 different things laying around.

ST141 knuckles dont fit RA28 struts though.. Not sure about TA22?
But... ST141 struts can be a good thing as Nissan R32 calipers bolt to them so maybe st141 knuckles and struts?

Longer LCA is a good thing.. the longer the arm the less geometry changes over a given amount of suspension travel.

So a long arm you could be a little less picky about everything being spot on. If you are that way inclined of course! If you want it all dead set spot on ignore that last sentence.

Longer tie rods yes, or use a 3 piece like RA celicas have where you have inner outer and a threaded tube in the centre. Just get a longer threaded tube in that case.

    R32 calipers arent that flash
the cast alloy flexxes under big load, for streetuse there great but i wouldnt have them on a track car, if the few KGs was that important i would go alighter rim, or a AP,willwood.brembo etc caliper

ST141 is sposed to introduce some +ve camber on RA23/28/40

ST141 and RT142 struts are the same as RA60/65 except they have solid rotors and ghey callipers.

people with above coronas bolt on RA60/5 brakes though.
