Dizzy is 24 tooth, to solve the dizzy problem my mate has just cut a little hole in this firewall and made a plate box thing to bolt on and cover it. He did the same for the water pipe that comes from the back of the engine.

how have people converted their 3sge/gte to a cam or crank angle sensor. im in the process of a ra23 conversion and i need the dizz gone as it pushed the motor too far forward for my likeing. has ayone converted to DFI or wasted spark on "STOCK ECM".
Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be acheived.
Also does anyone know weather the 3sge uses a 24 tooth NE tooth signal in the dizz.

I have swapped the dizzy to the front on several conversions. Big job, but very neat end result.
My engeneer isnt too happy with that idea and either am i "cutting into the fire wall that is", as to going from back to front, far to much hastle and at the end of the day i'm still running a dizz.![]()
I have read around the clubman scene that ther is a man who makes ignition adaptors for the 20v that allow you to run 2 or 4 stock igniters and coils for wasted spark and DFI off the 20v ECM. iv gotten in contact witha few shops and thay recon that the diff between 20v & 3S ignitor is negeligeble. Does any one know weather the 3SG(T)E ignitor has inbuilt dwell controll.
