I believe the rack and pinion KE70 steering arms are 85mm, steering box models of KE70 and TE71,72 use the 87mm. Do you know which model you got your arms from? My TE71 arms were 87 while base NZ spec KE70 with rack were 85mm.

My steering arms are from rack and pinion KE70 (87mm). CE70 with steering box was the same as 130 series Corona (85mm).

For coilover sleeves, the T3 ones are Ground Control which are effectively clamped around the strut will an allen bolt rather than grub screws.

You can see the split where it clamps up next to the Ground Control label.

Yeah, im pretty dead set on the twin perch nuts, ive seen screws strip in alloy too often (not necessarily in these parts though).

FWIW the sleeves i have were only marginally too small, and i could have bashed them on with a hammer, but the heating/cooling worked just as well.

    .

Yeah i here what you are saying takai .It is all too easy to strip alloy. They ( the pinch bolt) dont need to be very tight for the nut too "not turn" though.

Worst case senario ill buy some nuts....... but i dont see them being a prob.

WDE BDY : what are the T3 ones worth ??? out of curiosity ......... dont reckon you can beat $6.99.

No, not $6.99. However for $199US they include threaded section, top and bottom spring seats AND springs in whatever rate and length you want so pretty good value for the complete setup. Also, the freight looked quite pricey from the link. Mine was $37US for coilovers, camber plates and RCA's.

    Hi,

Just wonder if anyone knows where I can get Roll Centre Adjusters (RCA) for the corona struts. I know takai has some on his. I know Toy Tech Tuning sell 35mm ones, but I am not sure which car to go for MX73? Can these be sourced with a camber off set? Sorry if this has been covered before. I have tried to search for the information with no luck. Really need them for my set up to get the camber I want and add some of the material back that I cut out.

MX73 strut would have a similar patterned base of the strut to the MA61 and RA65 and SA63?

    MX73 is 90mm like MA61, RA65 etc, AE86 is 85mm along with 130 series Corona, KE70 (not T18, this is 87mm).

Excellent so I can use the AE86 35mm ones from T3 with the camber offset.

Bolt spacing is the same for Corona struts, however I won't guarantee the spigoting into the bottom of the strut is the same. But since I have the AE86 RCA's and Corona TT132 strut then hopefully I will get them together this weekend with a camera.

    I have been running T3, AE86 RCA's on a TA22 Celica, for over 3 years, with RT132 struts.

    cheers Chuck.
