we removed all the volvo mounts and replaced them with the celica ones, if you cut off the celica ones with a little care they fit the larger volvo unit really well which makes the welding easier. as for the panhard I think stewy used a modified crapadore one .

Hey Witzl, on both my volvo diff conversions the inner seals were removed & discarded, because the replacement bearings weren't sealed & the bearing retainers didn't have the shoulder for the seals to seal against. No problems with it like that over the years.

looks like some good work, I have converted a couple of diff so know how much of a barstard it is.
Have you checked it for straightness?? every time I have completed a diff no matter how careful I have been with the weld procedure they have been out, requiring straightening post welding.

what brakes are you running on the front?
mine with hilux on the front and volvo on the rear was quite good and needed no changes.
